Gary Roy II
Gary Roy II has been painting, weatherproofing, and installing specialty coating systems since he was 13 years old. He was mentored and trained by his father, Gary Roy Sr., a union painter in Tampa turned business owner in 1974.
After graduating from Robinson High School in South Tampa, Gary continued his education at Hillsborough Community College and then transferred into the University of Florida's building construction program. He returned to work full time in 1996 and has now been active in the family business for over 30 years — first as a technician, then foreman, and now in leadership and client-facing roles.
Gary’s passion was instilled by his father. To Gary, helping people with quality, lasting protection is both spiritually rewarding and a blessing to those he serves. He founded DryGuard Roofing & Weatherproofing to expand the reach of that legacy, helping more homeowners and businesses across Central Florida.
